What we ask,
and why

How this house handles the information you give us.

This notice explains what personal information Vummidi Nandagopal Sons collects through this website, what we do with it, and what you may ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be endured. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it plainly.

Last updated: August 2026

What we collect

Only what you type into our forms, and nothing more. When you request an appointment or write to us, we receive your name, your email address, your telephone number, and whatever you choose to tell us in the message field. If you subscribe to the Journal, we receive your email address.

We do not ask for identity documents, financial details, or payment information through this website. Any such matters are handled in person at the showroom.

Why we ask

To reply to you. An appointment request is answered by a person at this house who needs to know how to reach you and what you would like to discuss. A Journal subscription is used to send the Journal, and for nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or trade your details to anyone, and we never will.

Where it goes

Enquiries made through this website reach us at our business email, info@vummidiofficial.com, and through WhatsApp Business, which we use to answer patrons and to carry on the conversation once it has begun. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and messages you send us there are also handled under Meta’s own terms, over which we have no control. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, write to us by email or telephone the showroom, and we will answer the same way.

Your information is seen only by the people who need it to answer you. It is not shared with other businesses, advertisers, or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Appointment enquiries are kept for as long as we reasonably need them to serve you and to keep the house’s own record of the work we have done. We review what we hold from time to time and remove what is no longer needed. Journal subscriptions are kept until you ask to be removed. Whatever the reason, if you ask us to delete your details, we will.

Photographs and stories

The stories in our Commission book are published only with the written consent of the people in them. Each couple reads the draft before it appears, and nothing goes up until they have said yes. If they change their minds afterwards, at any time and for any reason, the story comes down and no reason is asked for.

Photographs credited to other studios are published with those photographers acknowledged. If you believe an image on this site is yours and has been used without permission, write to us and we will remove it while we look into it.

Cookies and measurement

This website sets no advertising cookies and sells nothing about you to anybody. It does measure your visit, and only if you have said it may. On your first visit a notice asks whether we may use Google Analytics. If you decline, or simply never answer, nothing is loaded from Google and no cookie is set. If you allow it, Google Analytics places cookies in your browser and sends Google the pages you read, roughly where in the world you are, and what browser and device you used. Your address is shortened before it is stored. We see counts and pages; we do not see you. Your answer is kept in your own browser, is never sent to us, and you may change it at any time, here. The map link on this site takes you to Google Maps, and the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp; both are governed by their own terms once you leave our page.

What you may ask of us

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to erase it, and withdraw your consent to our holding it at all. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: one message, and it is done.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may take the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.

Who to write to

These requests are handled by the Grievance Officer of Vummidi Nandagopal Sons. Write to info@vummidiofficial.com marking your message for the Grievance Officer, or telephone the showroom on +91 98400 71733. We answer in the order requests arrive, and we will tell you what we have done.
